Name: Jerry Rich Gender: Male Age: 45 Height: 5'4'' Weight/body frame: 280 lb Appearance: exuberantly obese with constant 5 o'clock shadow, very hairy
Eyes: brown Hair: dark brown, culdesac Skin tone: fair, but mostly covered by body hair Clothing: Dirty khakis, an old button down and too tight brown jacket Other characteristics: Role: Team Rocket Grunt History: My life passed me by, though I would never admit to my pathetic state. I gambled away my inheritance and hurt all those around me. Jenny Blackstone, the love of my life, was killed in an altercation with my bookie 25 years ago and since then I have fallen into a deeper depression than from whence I came. My debts piled up due to my incessant betting on the local Jolteon races and trainer battles. With no further recourse after losing my job as a bouncer at the bar in Goldenrod, i decided to join up with the rising Team Rocket. I don't have much to bring to the table... I had never even had a pokemon of my own and I surely had no money or position to bring to Team Rocket.
I was told that I could join in an entry position, but first I would have to catch a pokemon to demonstrate that I had atleast some potential. They gave me naught but a Rattata and a few pokeballs. I spent weeks roaming Kanto looking for and trying to catch just one pokemon. One day I stumbled upon a Weedle outside of Violet City. I sent Rattata out to battle, but by this point even Rattata had given up on me. For some reason, this Weedle took pity on me, and as I sat on the ground crying at my pitiful state, the Weedle showed me the only affection I had seen since my wife's death. It followed me back to Goldenrod and took me as its own. It may be a funny name for a Weedle, but I named her Jenny in honor of my dearly departed wife.
I returned the Rattata to Team Rocket HQ and set out to move through their ranks with my Jenny. It's been 5 years since then, and Jenny and I have grown and gathered a team of worthy friends.
I am all set for a promotion within Team Rocket, I may become a regional leader even. I dislike how most people in Team Rocket tend to treat their pokemon. Sure, pokemon need to be disciplined and hardened, but I find it impossible to not develop a personal relationship with my pokemon.
I am also becoming disgruntled with how we treat the rest of the world. I messed my own life up and the lives of those around me, but I never meant anyone else any harm. Since I joined Team Rocket, all I have done is sell drugs and collect debts, with my trusty pokemon team at hand if anything got out of hand. But as I grow in ranks I see that we at Team Rocket actively pursue terror upon people, and this does trouble my conscience.
But I try to keep all of that out of my mind. Like I said, I am heading for a promotion and I am finally making something of my life.

Name: John Fisher Gender: Male Age: 24 Height: 5'11" Weight/body frame: 120 lbs. Slender. Appearance: - Eyes: Dark brown - Hair: Black, with flecks of grey. - Skin tone: Caucasian, middle-range. Not noticeably pale or tanned. - Clothing: Almost always at least semi-well-dressed. Either dark pants and a white polo, or khaki pants and a dark polo (usually blue, red, or green). Often fancier attire, up to full suit. - Other characteristics: Wears glasses, but doesn't need them - they're flat sheets of glass, no prescription. They’re for appearances.
Role: Team Rocket leader. History: When I was nine, my parents taught me the difference between intelligent rebellion and futile rebellion. They taught me, with tears in their eyes that some things could not be changed, and some things could be changed, and that I needed to learn the difference between the two. They told me this knowing that the Rockets would be coming for me within the week, and would take me away, never to see them again. I didn’t fully understand, at the time, what they meant – but when the Rockets showed up the next day to take me, I went willingly.
I learned some of what my parents meant quickly. In my classes, the instructors tried to drill into me their worldview. They tried to tell me that Team Rocket was the only force holding society together, that they were making the world a better place, that the harshness of their methods was necessary. I could’ve fought, shouted that they were wrong, that I knew better than that – but that would be futile rebellion. So I listened quietly, and wrote on the tests exactly what my teachers wanted to read. They started putting me into special classes, teaching me leadership skills. They taught me to manage, to delegate, to control my image, to lie (not realizing that I had been doing this the whole time). With everything they taught me, I became better and better at projecting the image of a model student. When my classes ended at 19, I was immediately put into a management position – a low-ranking one, to be sure, but still better than most students’ initial assignments.
My parents had taught me that there was a difference between intelligent and futile rebellion, but they weren’t able to teach me what that difference was. Team Rocket taught me that, although they didn’t mean to. Power is the difference. The powerless can change nothing. The powerful can change everything. And so I worked hard at my first position, exceeding quotas and expectations, and I was given more power. I was promoted through the ranks rapidly, receiving larger and larger projects, given more and more control over more and more people. And every now and then, when there was no way I could be caught, I was able to change something. Change a seven in a database to a one, send an unusually kind underling to gather a family’s child. Nothing large, nothing that would be noticed, but I made a few lives better, where I could. I also made some worse. I increased the efficiency of debt-collecting squads. I refined a city’s drug marketing program. I have done horrible things – but these things gave me more power, and more ability to change other things. My methods are harsh sometimes, but I am serving the greater good.
My most recent promotion was to the top of a sizeable science lab researching human-Pokemon genetic crossover. I am no scientist – they stopped teaching me the nuances of science when they starting training me to lead – but the Head Administrator need not understand the details of what’s being researched. I have people for that. I have people for “Fundraising.” I have people for “Acquisitions.” And I have power – still not enough to make serious changes, but enough to change something.

Name: Marie Fischer Gender: Female Age: 17 Height: 5' 6" Weight/body frame: 105, thin and athletic Appearance: A genetic experiment that involved the splicing of her human DNA with the DNA of a Luxray when she was very young.
* Eyes: Red sclera, yellow glowing Iris * Hair: A wild mane of dark-blue curly hair that does what it wants to when it wants to and hangs to about her mid-back. * Skin tone: Very light, fades to a pale blue towards her extremities (hands, feet, around eyes and ears). * Clothing: She wears a long dark blue sleeveless trenchcoat with a yellow Rocket R emblazoned on the back and a black tanktop underneath. She wears fingerless gloves with metal insets, dark cargo pants, a yellow belt and no shoes. She also has a fondness for wearing brightly coloured ribbons or feathers in her hair. * Other characteristics: Her teeth are pointed, her ears elongated, and her feet have pads on the soles. She has retractable claws on her fingers and toes and has vestigial light blue fur on her stomach and trailing down her spine. She also has a tail that looks very much like a Luxray's, including the star shape at the end. She also has bright (electric) yellow glads on her forearms that are filled with a sort of jelly or liquid, this is where electricity is generated. She can generate and discharge electricity as well as use her claws and fangs for attacks. Also, she has retained a Luxray's ability to see through walls and shadows.
Role: Team Rocket experiment
History: Severely injured within the first year of her life, Marie Fischer lay in a hospital bed, comatose, her parents dead and no close kin. A Rocket working at the hospital so w the opportunity she presented and took her, marking her as dead, erasing her identity records and spiriting her away to the research facilities. She remained deep within her coma as tests and operations were preformed, but the genetic splicing seemed to have a curative effect on her. Marie Fisher awoke for the first time when she was eight, and she was already bestowed with Pokemon abilities.
She quickly became the pet of the laboratory, referring to the scientists as her parents, and growing up free from cages. She did whatever the Rocket's asked her too and associated the red R with safety, security, and a family. The proudest day of her life was when her 'Father' the doctor who first abducted her presented her with an R of her own, bright yellow and emblazoned boldly on her favorite jacket.
That's when things began to go wrong. There were budget cuts, the other experiments began pleading with her, she who walked freely when others were caged and tortured, and the scientists and experiments began to dwindle and disappear from her home.
At 16, several months before her 17th birthday, there was a rebel raid on the facility. The experiments were freed, the scientists and guards were captured or killed. And among those freed experiments was one who had no idea where to go, no idea what the outside world was like.
Marie just wants to go home. Survive and go home.

//Well, I'll post him up even if I'm not allowed a second character, because I enjoy him. I hope you guys will too. C:// Name: Theras Rivers Gender:Male Age:27 Height:5' 10” Weight/body frame: Athletic, but doesn't have an exceptional amount of muscle mass. Appearance: Eyes: Bright green Hair: Long, black, straight and unruly. He keeps it held back in a ponytail most of the time, but it enjoys escaping. Skin tone:Slightly paler than average. Clothing: A grey long-sleeved shirt with a leather jacket over it. On the jacket's lapel is embroidered a red R, and on the back a larger white one. Also, grey-blue jeans, mirrored goggles, and tall, black, laceup combat boots. Other characteristics: Has tattoos under his eyes, three black marks under the lower eyelids. Has a bad habit of cracking his neck and knuckles, missing the top joints of the third and fourth fingers of his left hand. Role: Former Team Rocket member, now a 'socio-political dissident' (using his own words) History: Theras Rivers is a loner, and 'psychologically disturbed' as his file says, stamped and signed by numerous psychologists during his years of detention centers and prisons. He is slightly disturbed. He cannot stand human contact, violence, fighting or bloodshed. Instead he prefers to get his points across using rhetoric, or having other people who are more than willing to fight do it for him. If he is challenged, he will flat out refuse to battle, even going so far as to attack the other person himself than to be forced into a pokemon battle. Unless it is a matter of life or death, Theras will not command, instead his Absol acts often of its own accord, to prevent its master's stubborness and often stupidity from being extinguished permanently. Also Theras is obsessed with machines, especially flying machines, and his project over the past year or so has been to build a functioning 'attack zeppelin' He has, and the thing actually leaves the ground, and the balloon has a very ostentatious R on it, and on the netting he has figured out how to support a rather large nose-spike (for what he hasn't figured out yet) and he armed the gondola with some contraband explosives. Of course, he hasn't flown it yet, but he will. Prison records (on tape): DR MATTHEWS: Do you know the reason for your interniew? RIVERS: Probably so that you've got records of me being here, right? DR MATTHEWS: Not entirely. Would you mind stating for the record your name, age, and why you have been arrested? RIVERS: [rolls eyes] My name is Theras Rivers, I'm twenty-six years old, and I have been unrightfully imprisoned here! Denied my right to due process and habeas corpus! You're corrupt! The whole lot of ya! And I swear I'll break the [censored] out of here and you'll never see the light of day again! You'll rot in a jail cell and you'll never see another person, let alone a pokemon again! DR MATTHEWS: Are you quite finished? RIVERS: [sullen silence] DR MATTHEWS: I've been put in charge of initial observations. May the record reflect that Theras Rivers has been incarcerated on the charges of assault and attempted murder, and possession of an unregistered pokemon. He has plead not guilty to all charges and awaits further sentencing. RIVERS: Yeah, and I'm not allowed to make bail and I'll be held in prison here until I die. Is that right doctor? DR MATTHEWS: You will be tried and sentenced by a jury of your peers. RIVERS: [laughs] So what kind of doctor are ya anyways Matthews? Are you a shrink? You here to shrink my head? DR MATTHEWS: I am in charge of psychological evaluations, yes. RIVERS: Well what am I this time? We all know the drill. Am I bipolar? Obsessive-compulsive? Do I have poor impulse control? Am I a misanthrope? AM I VIOLENT? [laughs] Or maybe just manic? Or, this time, do I have paranoid schizophrenia? You have the file doctor, you tell me your diagnosis and prognosis. They get more entertaining EVERY time. DR MATTHEWS: I am not at liberty to disclose my opinion to you right now. RIVERS: Is that because I know too much? Or are those bastards on the outside paying you to shuttle me to the execution chamber? [long pause] You might want to get out of here Doctor, while you still can. I really don't want to hurt you. You seem innocent, if misguided. DR MATTHEWS: And what makes you say that Theras? RIVERS: [laughs] In any case, you might want to close your ears. It'll be for the best. [clamps hands over ears] DR MATTHEWS: What? What's going o-- RIVERS: ABSOL, PERISH SONG! NOW!
Theras Rivers was born in Lavaridge on the continent of Hoenn. His father and mother were both career Team Rocket members who were marginally active, although retired. As he was young, he was therefore exposed to the Rocket philosophy and mentality. When Theras was eight, the Rivers family moved to Fortree city and there was talk of introducing Theras to his first pokemon. A few weeks after his birthday however, he stole one of his father's ultra balls and ventured east, towards Route 120. After getting lost, attacked and chased by wild pokemon, Theras was cornered by a hungry Linoone. He squinted his eyes shut, prepared to be eaten when he heard a rustle in the grass, a splash, and then an impact. He opened his eyes to see an Absol standing over him protectively, and the Linoone slinking away into the bushes. It then looked down at him, and despite its eyes blazing red and its massive claws, Theras patted it on the head. The Absol did not object and allowed him to limp home, holding onto its back for support. After a year or so of living with the River's family, the Absol would still only obey Theras, and finally permitted itself to be marked and 'caught' by Theras's pokeball. When Theras was ten, he began the examinations and elimination process to become a Rocket Candidate and enter Team Rocket, much to the approval of his parents. But then, Giovanni was overthrown, killed, and Matthias took his place. Matthias, Matthias, son of Satan himself some called him. He had risen quickly, brutally and now established himself as master. Despite his misgivings, Theras continued on his course as a Rocket. But by the time he was eighteen, he had had enough. Matthias was wrong. He was messing the entire thing up. This was no longer Team Rocket! He expressed his misgivings to his superior and his desire to quit. They remedied this quickly with a week of 'convincing him otherwise'. Theras managed to break out, weak, close to death, but still with his beloved Absol beside him. He then started on his crusade, to bring Team Rocket back to its former ideals, former glory, and crush the traitor Matthias once and for all. Several acts of terrorism and vigilanteism later, he caught the attention of both the people and the police who were by now nothing but Rocket pawns. He was pursued, captured, imprisoned, tortured more, and finally he escaped with the help of Absol. He was 25. Now he lives on the run, assisting resistance forces, converting people to his cause and spying on Rocket facilities. But he still only looks towards one goal. Finding Giovanni, who can't have been killed, and overthrowing Matthias the murderer once and for all.
